About Enterprising Manukau

Enterprising Manukau was established as a trust in 1994 with the specific aim of directly contributing to the economic growth and development of Manukau City. It is a non-profit, commercially neutral enterprise that is non-sector aligned and regional in its outlook.

Through the ability to reflect and respond to the diversity in Manukau City and by working collaboratively with its stakeholders, Enterprising Manukau aims to improve the quality of life for citizens of Manukau City by:

• Fostering activities which will increase the opportunities for employment within the area
• Encouraging and assisting in the establishment and development of sustainable new and existing businesses and promote enterprise development
• Involvement in projects which promote vocational and educational opportunities
• Promoting and attracting new investments to the Manukau region

Enterprising Manukau has a clear, non-partisan understanding of the business environment in Manukau and indeed the rest of New Zealand.

Enterprising Manukau has a team with a wide range of vocational and business experience. The dynamics of this team environment are incredibly progressive and continue to provide businesses and individuals with the tools required to facilitate economic growth and prosperity.

Enterprising Manukau promotes and facilitates economic growth in the region by working with businesses to improve their management capabilities. Moreover, working alongside Manukau City Council and other key agencies to promote Manukau as the leading destination in which to live, invest and conduct business.
