Business Growth The Business Growth Programme evaluates the present position of an organisation by using various economic, marketing and strategic planning models. It helps the business owner to establish prioritised strategic options that the business should take to achieve its goals and vision. A simple strategy development model is used that encompasses mission, vision and values. It sets out objectives, and in-depth strategies on key parameters that are critical to an organisation’s success. Such parameters may be technology and innovation, financial performance, market share and positioning, customer satisfaction, quality management, manpower planning, leadership and governance, including exit strategies. The main aim of the programme is to build a pathway for business progress and its excellence by: - Looking at taking the business to the next level(s) of commercial potential including the creation of a new business and expansion of an existing one
- Assist in identifying early stage impediments to business progress and finding appropriate remedies or solutions
- Working with management to dissect the organisation with the view to ensure all the strengths and weaknesses are identified and appropriate action taken.
Strategies and action plans are then developed including: - Growth strategies and business planning
- Business performance enhancements
- Marketing options
- Financial understanding and improvements
- Exporting, franchising, partnering for expansion and building economies of scale
- Risk management and other regulatory and compliance issues.
The programme is intensively interactive between the business facilitator and the business owner. It is supported with a set of agreed action plans laid out on a timeline for milestone planning. In this way, the ownership and commitment to the programme always remains with the business owner. Coaching and business facilitation by the business facilitator is ongoing.
