Investor Champion The Investor Champion Service works to assist business growth in the city by creating an environment conducive to business, identifying barriers to investment and helping to resolve issues faced by businesses wishing to invest in the city. The Investor Champion acts as a case-manager, ensuring that a company relocating to Manukau reaches its full production capabilities in the shortest possible time, with cost saving benefits. This includes helping companies new to the city to locate possible sites, determining the business zoning of the selected area, finding out the latest rating charges, facilitating the resolution of problems with resource consent and building consent procedures and, working with Central Government Agencies, assisting with the sourcing and training of staff.
