Enterprising Manukau’s Investor Champion Service works to assist business growth in the city by creating a welcoming environment, identifying barriers to investment and helping to resolve issues faced by businesses wishing to invest in the city.

The Investor Champion acts as a case-manager, ensuring that a company relocating to Manukau reaches its full production capabilities in the shortest possible time, with cost saving benefits.

Assistance available includes assisting companies new to the city to locate possible sites, establishing the business zoning of the selected area, determining the latest rating charges, facilitating the resolution of problems with resource consent and building consent procedures and assisting with the sourcing and training of staff.
